0:17 Wi Fi started in the retail vertical in the late 90s and then exploded into the enterprise.

0:24 When Intel delivered the Centrino chip that put Wi Fi in every laptop in roughly a five

0:39 And what's so interesting is all of that preceded the smartphone or modern cloud services.

0:57 And then an interesting thing happened in 2014, the team that built Cisco's controller

1:03 base wireless business and acquired Meraki the first cloud managed technology spun out

1:08 of Cisco, was funded by Google and Cisco investments to build the network for the next decade.

1:16 That company mist was acquired by Juniper in 2019.

1:21 And today, their vision of bringing AI to the network has become very real.

1:30 Let's take a second and see how AI can fundamentally change network operations.

1:37 So eight years ago, the company was founded today three of the four largest companies

3:39 The world's largest logistics company reduced the time to close a trouble ticket by 96%.

4:25 The first thing is this architecture was designed from the ground up to collect telemetry from

4:33 every client every minute, up to 150 states on every device, and all they have to have

4:42 is a Wi Fi chipset.

4:44 So we know if the signal strength is poor at the back of the lobby.

4:49 We know if someone entered their password wrong and couldn't authenticate on the network.

4:54 We know if your DHCP server went offline.

4:58 We don't need a user to open a ticket with it to start the process.

5:04 Once we see that something's wrong, we leverage AI in the cloud to do what a human being would

5:11 If you could have a staff that stayed awake 24 hours a day, seven days a week and was

5:17 deployed next to every switch port and AP in your network with a sniffer.

5:25 AI can dynamically capture packets and do automated root cause analysis.
